Manny Machado hits solo homer in win Saturday

San Diego Padres 3B Manny Machado went 1-for-5 at the plate on Saturday, hitting a solo homer in the Padres' 2-1 win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Machado has been phenomenal at the plate this season as he now has eight home runs on the season along with 25 RBI. The third basemen is one of the best the plate in the league right now as he is batting .358 which is the second best BA in the league and carries an OPS of 1.006 which is good for fourth. The 29 year old is having a MVP caliber season and managers should enjoy it as they got him at a discount in drafts to begin the season.
