Elieser Hernandez worked five innings in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Braves, giving up just one run on three hits and one walk while striking out five.
After allowing 14 runs (10 earned) across 13 1/3 innings over his last three starts, Hernandez was in need of a solid outing such as this. Perhaps the 27-year-old righty can build off of it and course correct from his early-season struggles. Still, his inconsistencies have him well off the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of leagues right now. Hernandez is in line for another bout with the Braves in Atlanta next weekend.
