Oneil Cruz went 2-for-4 with two singles and two strikeouts during Friday’s 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Cruz has notched six hits in his first five games of 2022 to go along with seven RBI. The highly rated shortstop has been relied on heavily since the promotion, leading off early in the week and making appearance in each game. As more games are played, Cruz’s abilities as batter, defender and base runner will only increase his value for Major League and fantasy purposes.
