Merrill Kelly lasted seven innings on the mound for the Diamondbacks Friday, allowing two runs on five hits while also walking one and striking out three in the Diamondbacks' 9-3 win over the Rockies.

Kelly kept Colorado hitters off-balance all night Friday, allowing less than four runs for the second time in his last three starts on the mound. The right-hander carries a 3.46 ERA and 1.26 WHIP to go along with a 7.32 K/9 ratio in 16 starts (7-5) on the mound this season.
