Tarik Skubal allowed two unearned runs on three hits over six innings in a 4-3 win over the Padres on Wednesday. Skubal struck out two and walked three but had to settle for a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Skubal has a 25.5% K rate in 2022, so it goes as a bit of a surprise that he only logged two strikeouts in the outing. That being said, the 25-year-old hurler is enjoying a breakout in 2022, posting a 7-8 record, 3.67 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 113 strikeouts over 112 2/3 innings of work. Skubal is lined up to face the Twins on Monday for his next start.
