Hunter Brown dominates in ML debut Monday

by Kendall Capps | Astros Correspondent | Tue, Sep 6th 12:59am EDT

Astros prospect Hunter Brown was called up and made his major league debut against the Rangers Monday. He did not disappoint, tossing six shutout innings allowing just three hits and a walk with five strikeouts in a 1-0 victory.

Fantasy Impact:

With Justin Verlander currently on the injured list, Brown finally got a shot in the big leagues. It obviously helped taking on the hapless Rangers offense. Nevertheless, this was as good of a start as could be expected from the 24-year-old. He is not currently slated for another start, but after this performance, that will likely change.
