Ranger Suarez pitches well but takes no-decision against Braves

by Dan Harris | Phillies Correspondent | Sat, Sep 17th 9:26am EDT

Ranger Suarez allowed one run on two hits and three walks over six innings on Friday against the Braves. He struck out four and did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Suarez was dynamite on Friday and in line for the win before Seranthony Dominguez imploded in the eighth inning. He wasn't overpowering by any means - he induced just five whiffs - but he used all his pitches effectively and kept the Braves off balance. His ERA and WHIP are down to 3.53 and 1.30, respectively, and he'll take on the Braves again next. Given how he performed on Friday, he's likely worth a roll of the dice in that outing.
