Pavin Smith went 1-for-3 Sunday, doubling and driving in two runs in the Diamondbacks' 3-2 loss to the Giants.

Smith has gotten hot at the plate for the Diamondbacks, hitting a robust .429 with two runs scored and five runs batted in over his last seven games. The 26-year-old has struggled for much of the season, hitting .216 with 21 runs scored, nine home runs, and 33 runs batted in through 68 games this season.
