Tyler Anderson tosses six solid innings Tuesday versus Padres

Tyler Anderson did not factor into the decision after allowing two runs on three hits while striking out three in six innings of Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Padres.

Anderson's two earned runs came in the first inning, and he was able to buckle down with five scoreless after that. The lefthander has been magnificent as of late, boasting a 1.79 ERA and a WHIP of 0.95 over his last seven outings. On the year, he carries a 2.54 ERA and an even WHIP of 1.00 to go with his 15-4 record. He will look to keep it rolling with his final start of the regular season against the Rockies on Sunday.
