Jake Cronenworth shows his worth again Saturday

Padres 2B Jake Cronenworth blasted his 17th home run of the season Saturday in a 5-2 win over the White Sox. He finished 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk.

Fantasy Impact:

Cronenworth started the season very slowly. It prompted the Padres to bring in aging veteran Robinson Cano who initially took some playing time from him at second base. That apparently lit a fire in Cronenworth. Along with the homers, the infielder has 85 RBI's and a decent .333 OBP. That wouldn't be considered decent maybe five to ten years ago, but in today's MLB it is. He will likely be a mid-round selection next season.
