Mike Trout reaches 40-homerun mark on final day of season

Mike Trout went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the A's.
Fantasy Impact:
Trout capped off his 12th big-league season with his 40th homer of the year, because of course he did. This is just the third time that the former MVP has reached this mark, and he did it this season after playing just 119 games. The 31-year-old rounded out his year with a .283 batting average, his 40 homers, 80 RBIs and an OPS of .999 in 438 at-bats.
