Willie Calhoun designated for assignment by Yankees

Calhoun was activated from the injured list after dealing with a quad injury and subsequently designated for assignment on Friday. The move is to make room for the highly-anticipated return of superstar Aaron Judge who has dealt with a toe injury since crashing through a Dodger Stadium wall in early June. Calhoun hit .239 with five homers and a .712 OPS across 44 games with the Yankees this season.
