In a high-scoring affair against the Braves, Brandon Pfaadt's turned in a disappointing performance on the mound for the Diamondbacks Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Delivering 87 pitches over 5 2/3 innings, Pfaadt allowed eight hits and five earned runs, despite racking up seven strikeouts. The right-hander has flashed swing-and-miss stuff, finishing with at least six strikeouts in each of his first two starts for the Diamondbacks, but will need to limit damaged when opposing batters make contact to become a reliable option as part of an Arizona rotation that will eventually include late free-agent acquisition Jordan Montgomery for a club looking to recapture the magic that led to a World Series appearance last season.
