Brandon Nimmo's effort not enough in Mets' loss

by Chris Schommer | Mets Correspondent | Sun, Apr 28th 8:10am EDT

Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in the Mets' 7-4 loss to the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the team's defeat, Nimmo's performance was a bright spot, contributing two key RBIs to try and keep the Mets competitive. This season, Nimmo has struggled with a low batting average of .213, but his ability to draw walks and get on base, evidenced by his .329 wOBA and .170 walk rate, remains a valuable asset in fantasy formats that reward on-base percentage. His modest power and speed numbers won't turn heads, but his knack for getting on base can provide consistent value, especially in deeper leagues or OBP formats.
