JP Sears delivered a standout performance, allowing no earned runs on just two hits and one walk while striking out one over six innings in Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Astros.

This outing was a breath of fresh air for fantasy managers, especially considering Sears's somewhat rocky 3.88 ERA and 4.65 FIP entering the game. His ability to suppress hits, evidenced by a season-long .233 BABIP, and maintain a solid 1.09 WHIP, was on full display.
