Freddie Freeman continues to make progress in recovery from wrist injury

by Steve Painter | Dodgers Correspondent | Sat, Feb 27th 5:43pm EST

Freeman took live batting practice today from pitchers Bud Norris and Lucas Sims. It wasn't planned this way but Freeman said he felt good and swung the bat well despite plans that he just eye the pitches in preparation for future BP. He says he felt no discomfort. (MLB.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Last week, Freeman said, "Give me two weeks." He is ready to go and feels fully healthy. Freeman may not have an MVP year, but only because of the team he plays on. The Braves are rebuilding and that leaves him without much protection in the batting order. Still, he will post numbers that will satisfy his owners.
