Pablo Sandoval goes on 15-day disabled list

Pablo Sandoval has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left shoulder strain, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports. It's unclear what caused the injury that was just discovered today, but no matter what happened, the third baseman will head to the disabled list for some time. (Rob Bradford on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Sandoval has been a major disappointment going into the season. He has lost his job at third base and has done nothing to win it back. He is hitless in eight plate appearances so far this season. If you own Sandoval, it is not worth putting him on your fantasy DL. He should be dropped.
