Brian McCann with two home runs against the Rangers
by Chris Zolli | Wed, Jun 29th 10:35pm EDT
Brian McCann finished 2-for-3 with a walk, two home runs, three runs scored, and four RBI in the Yankees' 9-7 comeback victory over the Rangers. This gives him five home runs in June, a showcase of power even with a .230 batting average this month. McCann now has 12 home runs this season and a .772 OPS.
Fantasy Impact:
McCann only has a .229 batting average this season, but his power and walks make him a top-10 catcher. He is now tied for the MLB lead in home runs for a catcher with Salvador Perez and Wilson Ramos and his .333 OBP is sixth among catchers with 150 or more at-bats.
