Matt Garza allowed seven runs on eight hits over four and one-thirds innings in a loss on Wednesday afternoon. He walked two, and struck out three batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Garza was tortured by the home run, allowing three of them which plated six of his seven runs allowed. He hadn't allowed a home run in his four previous starts, and his career HR/9 rate is 1.01 so he was probably due. The Brewers would love to trade Garza if he can string together a few good starts, and he'll look to get back on track after the All-Star break.
