Alex Avila to 15-day DL

Alex Avila was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday. The White Sox are hopeful that he'll be able to return from his hamstring injury after the minimum of 15 days, which would have him back by July 21. (Dan Hayes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While he hasn't provided much in the way of pop, Avila has had a nice season for the White Sox at the plate. His average is a bit low, but he's been able to get on base at a solid clip of .362. Still, he's been more valuable for the White Sox than he has for fantasy purposes.
