Profilic walker Carlos Santana has seen his walk rate drop from 17.1% and 16.2% over the last two seasons to 12.5% this year. He led the Major Leagues with 113 walks in 2015 and was top-5 with 108 last year. Currently he has only taken 62 free passes which does not even put him in the top-12. The switch-hitter's ability to take a walk has been one of his most valuable assets in points leagues and compensates for his perennially low batting average.
