Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was one of the most notable quarterbacks at the NFL Combine. Prescott finished fifth in both the vertical jump and broad jump drills while running a 4.79 40-yard dash.

Indiana running back Jordan Howard was quiet during the NFL Combine. Howard did not participate in the 40-yard dash and was a top performer in the vertical jump and broad jump drills.

Oklahoma wideout Sterling Shepard was one of the most impressive wide receivers during the NFL Combine. Shepard tied for first among receivers in the bench press with 20 reps and also tied for first in the vertical jump. Shepard also ran a 4.48 40-yard dash, which was tied for the ninth-best time among receivers.

Mississippi State wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson might have drastically hurt his draft stock during the NFL Combine. Wilson's 4.85 40-yard dash time was the slowest among participating wideouts. His 28-inch vertical jump was also the worst among participating players at his position.

Arkansas running back Alex Collins ran a 4.59 40-yard dash, which was the 15th best time among tailbacks.

Eastern Kentucky DE/OLB Noah Spence was underwhelming in a variety of ways at the NFL Combine. Spence posted a 4.80 40-yard dash time, which was not overly impressive when compared to fellow edge rushers. NFL.com's Mike Mayock said he expected Spence to run a 40-yard dash time between 4.65 and 4.7 seconds. League personnel weren't impressed with Spence either. One exec told NFL.com's Kimberly Jones that Spence was not worthy of being a first-round pick while an unnamed general manager told NFL.com that he didn't know if he could trust Spence off of the field.

Alabama defensive tackle Jarran Reed participated in a variety of drills at the NFL Combine. But one drill Reed did not participate in was the bench press. Reed posted a 5.21 40-yard dash, and a 4.75 second 20-yard shuttle.

Florida defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard put up a good performance at the NFL Combine. The 6-foot-2, 283 pound prospect ran a 4.93 40-yard dash, put up 23 reps in the bench press and leapt 116 inches in the broad jump.

Former Mississippi State wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson opted to forgo his senior season after hauling in 60 passes for 918 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015. Wilson features prototypical size for an NFL wideout at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. He has good hands and can be a reliable red zone option in the NFL, but there are questions as to whether Wilson will ultimately develop into a No. 1 receiver. Wilson doesn't possess great speed and does not do much after the catch.

There's no doubt Eastern Kentucky defensive end Noah Spence has talent. He displayed it during an impressive 2015 season when he recorded 11.5 sacks. But, Spence does carry some off-field baggage. He was dismissed from Ohio State in 2014 after failing several drug tests because of an issue with Ecstasy. He eventually received treatment and has not had any problems since. Spence tore it up at EKU, but a limited sample size against Division 1 opponents muddles the value of Spence's production. He can play both defensive end and move outside as an edge rusher. He has a natural first step and the quickness to blow by blockers. He will need to develop in coverage, especially if he's drafted by a 3-4 team.
