Saquon missed three games last season but he finished with almost 1,500 yards from scrimmage. He had just 8 touchdowns last year after 15 in his rookie year, so we should expect some positive regression from him. I'm not completely sold on Daniel Jones and this offensive line is scary, but Saquon's talent makes him a top-three lock. After CMC goes off the board, it's tough to differentiate between Ezekiel Elliott and Saquon Barkley. I give Zeke the slight edge since he's playing in what I project as a top-5 scoring offense with tremendous blocking in front of him. Zeke is a workhorse and should come close to leading the league in total carries.
Draft Engine
Draft Engine
With Odell Beckham having been traded prior to last season, the Giants' offense ran through Barkley in 2019. Slowed by an ankle injury he suffered in Week 3, he didn't look healthy until racking up 721 scrimmage yards and five scores over five December games. The definition of a workhorse, Elliott leads all NFL running backs with 736 touches over the past two seasons. He also led the league in red-zone carries and rushing yards in 2019, with 59 attempts for 162 yards inside the 20-yard line.
Elisha Twerski
numberFire
In 2018, Barkley became just the sixth running back in league history to record at least 2,000 scrimmage yards and 15 touchdowns on 360 touches or less. He did that as a rookie, no less. In what was a down season for him last year, Barkley still posted a 16-game pace of 1,768 total yards and 9.9 scores. In his final three games, he posted 539 scrimmage yards and 5 scores. He's going to roll if he stays healthy in 2020.
David Zach
FantasyPros
Healthy, unquestioned workhorse roleHigh powered offense, increased receiving role
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
After an extremely impressive rookie season, Barkley came back down to earth a bit in 2019, though 4.6 yards per carry behind that Giants offensive line is nothing to scoff at. Playing through injury was a clear net-negative to his overall numbers, and something he hopefully learned from. The biggest difference was breakaway runs of 15-plus yards, as Barkley rattled off 20 of them in his rookie season, but just nine of them in his sophomore season. With all the weapons in this offense, you have to wonder just how many targets Barkley will get, but trust me, the Giants are building their offense around him and not anyone else. If Daniel Jones can take a step forward in year two, it'll help open lanes for Barkley. It also doesn't hurt that they dramatically improved the offensive line this offseason. There's only one running back over the last five years who's finished top-six three times, and that's Elliott. Oddly enough, he's never finished as No. 1 though. The Cowboys passing offense just got better with the addition of CeeDee Lamb, and while that may put a cap on Elliott's targets in the passing game, he should be free to rock against seven-man fronts. He saw eight-plus defenders in the box 19.3 percent of the time last year, a number that may dip down into the single digits, provided the Cowboys go three-wide more often than not. Stop trying to find "the next big thing," because Elliott has proven time and time again that he's among the safest picks at the top of the draft. He's posted RB2 or better numbers in 92.9 percent of his career games, which is better than any running back I've ever charted. In fact, the closest is Le'Veon Bell, who's hit that mark 87.0 percent of the time.
Rob Wilson
The Fantasy Footballers
A true generational talent at his position. Barkley has a chance to top the RB rankings if Daniel Jones can help the Giants offense take the leap. The last true workhorse on this list. Passing volume may dip in 2020, but his TD totals are due for positive regression
Frank Bonincontri
Fantasy Wire HQ
1.02 - Fully healthy for entire season could absolutely flip the fantasy world on its head for 2020Hoping Zeke stays Zeke under new head coach (and pass happy) Mike McCarthy. I believe he will..
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
After a spectacular rookie season made him a popular No. 1 pick in 2019 fantasy drafts, Saquon Barkley disappointed a lot of people in an injury-riddled season that saw him average four fewer half-PPR points a game (when he played). That's no reason to drop him below RB2 though, as even disappointing Barkley was still pretty darn good. With Joe Judge in town, the Giants have openly committed to improving the run and they've backed that up with the drafting of Andrew Thomas, Matt Peart and a guard I really like, Shane Lemieux. Things are looking very good for a Barkley revival and I'm all about him as the No. 2 overall pick in 2020.Big things have been expected of the Eagles since their Super Bowl success and they continue to disappoint. Injuries and a lack of quality have specifically hurt Jake Elliott, as he's a strong and consistent kicker who will take the opportunity if it's given to him.
Michael Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Has a chance to be the new Zeke in a Jason Garrett offense. This may mean more pass catching opportunities on top of at least 15+ touches on the ground. Only good things coming this season.Throughout his career, Zeke has averaged 96 rushing yards and 28 receiving yards per game. He also has 48 TDs in 56 games. Consistently great.
Dalton Kates
APEX Fantasy Leagues
Elite RB. Played with a high ankle sprain most of the year that limited him. Balled out at the end of last year. Ascending offense with a robust 3 down skillset. Legit chance to have 400+ PPR points.Elite RB who's in potentially the top offense in the league. Pollard's emergence may limit Zeke's total touches and adding Lamb may hurt Zeke's reception ceiling. Regardless still a top player in a fantastic situation.
Brandon Funston

If anyone can threaten CMC's 400-touch, 1000-rush yard, 1,000 rec. yard 2019 levels, it's Saquon, who has a new OC in J. Garrett who afforded E. Elliott elite volume in DALPerhaps nobody has a higher fantasy floor than EZE, who has the most games of 10+ FAN PTS since 2016 (53, out of a total of 56 games played)

Barkley missed three games due to injury in 2019 and still managed to rush for over 1,000 yards and six TDs. Now, he's healthy and the focal point of what should be a better offense with Daniel Jones in his 2nd season as the starter.Elliott had another stellar season last year and is in position to do it once again in 2020. The Cowboys offense has only gotten better this offseason with the addition of CeeDee Lamb. I don't expect the coaching change to affect Elliott's workload all that much making him the safest player in fantasy behind only McCaffrey

6th in FPPG last season even when playing through injury at times. That's probably his floor, especially with Jason Garrett in town now as an OC. Garrett was not afraid to feed Zeke on the ground and through the air in Dallas and will do the same in New York.

Nearly 200 targets and 150 receptions in 29 career games for Barkley nudges him past Elliot in either half or full PPR for me. Barkley will continue to be the focal point of the Giants offense this year.Zeke has finished as a top 5 RB in every season that he's played 15 games or more in both standard and PPR formats. Having never missed extended time due to injury in his career, Zeke is about as safe of a pick that you're going to get in the first round of your draft.

Barkley missed 3 games in 2019, was limited in several others and played on a 4-12 team that was outscored by 110 points on the season. He still managed 1,441 yards from scrimmage and 8 touchdowns. A new coaching staff should only help his fantasy value and he should have elite RB1 value in 2020.Elliott had 1,777 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns last year. There is always concern that a new coaching staff could change his usage, but given the size of his contract and OC Kellen Moore being retained to call plays, it seems likely he will have similar RB1 value in 2020.

Most fantasy points among RB week 13-16 (Half PPR), 22.9ppgEzekiel Elliott with a coronavirus update: "I would say I had maybe one or two days when I felt symptoms. Even then, it wasn't too bad. I had a cough and a little bit of shortness of breath. Now, I feel good. I feel normal." @jonmachota Zeke is the definition of consistent for fantasy. Last season he was at least an RB2 EVERY SINGLE WEEK. He was an RB1 in 9 of those weeks, with the other 7 weeks being an RB2. @ZtwiceFF

Last season, we saw Barkley struggle due to an ankle injury. However, once he got fully healthy, we saw what he can do again in the fantasy playoffs. Barkley's arguably the best RB in the NFL and this offense flows through him. If you miss out on CMC, don't worry...you'll be just fine with Barkley.Ezekiel Elliott has finished in the top-5 each of the past two seasons and may be one of the safest RBs to draft. As long as he's healthy, he'll see over 300 touches and that's exactly what you want from a top-5 redraft pick. You can draft Zeke with confidence yet again this season.

Along with CMac and Zeke, this elite horse will always have a huge ceiling and floor. Jason Garrett has a pass-happier, RBBC past... but has also gushed about Barkley multiple times, and saw the value of riding a horse in Zeke at the end of his Cowboys career.Mike McCarthy is definitely pass-happy AF... but, dating back to his Saints days, his offenses have been featured-back centric more often than not (10/18). Zeke should still eat, especially with another explosive weapon added in CeeDee Lamb

Mike McCarthy's RB usage in the pass game his last 3 years in GB: 2018 - 73 targets(12 games), 2017 - 83 targets, 2016 - 88 targets. That was typically with a 3 headed monster. I would assume Zeke is going to demand the large share of targets. He's averaged 83 over his last 2 seasons so potentially no new value here, unless Kellen Moore does something? Mike could get in trouble if he continues running the ball at the pace he did in GB though. 29th, 27th, and 32nd in the league his last 3 years, not gonna jive with a back that's averaged 292 carries a season since entering the league.
