Zachary Hanshew
FantasyPros
The second-round pick appeared in just seven games in 2019 due to a variety of injuries, though he's entering this season with an optimistic outlook on his health. He should take the field in 3WR sets alongside Michael Pittman and T.Y. Hilton, and the speedy Ohio State product could be valuable in deeper leagues.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
Jalen Reagor looks like he may be the Eagles slot receiver but I'm not entirely sure that's his strength. He's small, runs mediocre routes and profiles as more of a DJax-style deep threat. While that's fine in isolation, the Eagles already have two good outside receivers meaning Reagor may be forced into the slot. Alshon Jeffery starting on the PUP list will give Reagor a great opportunity to start off the season but Jeffery will still play in front of him when healthy. Reagor's injury makes life even harder for the rookie as he'll have less time to stake his claim. When you consider the Eagles gave their tight ends and running backs an astonishing 349 targets last season, it's hard to see space for Reagor behind big names like Ertz, Goedert and Sanders in the middle of the field. Reagor is a gamble that's starting to look more worthwhile but don't get caught up in the hype and reach for him as he's unlikely to be a league winner once he returns from injury. The Parris Campbell hype is growing but it's rather overblown. I understand the Rivers-slot connection and Parris does have talent, I just don't seem him as much more than a possible flex option in PPR if things go right. I'd rather shoot for a little more upside.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Reagor sustained a shoulder injury on August 30th and although the word is that he'll avoid surgery, he's reportedly likely to miss about four weeks. Prior to the injury, Reagor was set to be a value in drafts, as Alshon Jeffery's injury and a lack of reliable receiving options outside DeSean Jackson had him set to see a significant role. The timetable for his return is far from certain, but given that Reagor is a rookie and hasn't had any preseason contests to experience the speed of an NFL game, fantasy managers shouldn't count on production for him at the outset even after he returns. That's especially true given that he won't have as much time to benefit from Jeffery's likely absence to start the season. All in all, Reagor is a bench stash currently, but be prepared to be unable to use him for fantasy purposes for at least several weeks into the season.Campbell should be a prime sleeper this season, after missing all but seven games in his rookie season with injury. Philip Rivers likes to push the ball deep, and Campbell's elite speed should mesh with Rivers' skill set well. You can't rely on any Colts wide receiver outside of T.Y. Hilton as a fantasy starter, but Campbell has tons of upside and can play out of the slot, and should be drafted and stashed on fantasy benches everywhere.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
It was a shock to see the Eagles pass on Justin Jefferson to select Reagor because Jefferson seemed tailormade for their offense, but that doesn't make Reagor a bad choice. In fact, he was my No. 3 receiver in this draft class behind only Jerry Jeudy and CeeDee Lamb. He's a very explosive player who can play all over the field and create yards after the catch. Knowing that Marquise Goodwin opted out, Alshon Jeffery looks likely to start on the PUP list, and DeSean Jackson turning 34 years old, Reagor might lead this team's wide receivers in targets. All we've heard this offseason is that Reagor is "everything the Eagles thought he'd be and more." You can read my scouting report on him here. If Jeffery does, in fact, start out the season on the PUP list, Reagor is someone I'm willing to draft with one of my first bench spots, as he has 100-target potential. I can make the case for him to be a WR3 in fantasy, but you don't want to erase all equity. *Update* Reagor suffered an injury during training camp and may be out for a month, which would extend two weeks into the regular season. Stay tuned for more updates on his injury. If T.Y. Hilton continues to miss time with his hamstring ailment, Campbell is a candidate for sleeper of the year. Going back through the years with Philip Rivers, there's always been a target over the middle of the field. Whether it be Antonio Gates, Hunter Henry, Keenan Allen, or Eddie Royal. Campbell is going to fill the slot role when T.Y. Hilton is healthy, which isn't a bad thing. And if Hilton were to miss time, Campbell will move around the formation. Fortunately, he's a bigger, stronger, and faster version of Hilton. We haven't seen him play at the level Hilton has, but the Colts did draft him in the second round last year, highlighting their vision for him in this offense. While Hilton remains sidelined and rookie Michael Pittman tries to acclimate to the NFL, Campbell is a dark horse to lead this team in targets. Taking him in the double-digit rounds makes tons of sense, and best of all, you'll find out what you have over the first couple weeks.
Elliot Berkovits
Packer Report
Of all the rookie WR's, Reagor is the one I think has the chance to make the biggest impact in year one. The Eagles have a deep WR room but it's filled with injury-prone veterans like Alshon Jeffrey and DeSean Jackson who are unlikely to make it through 16 games. I wouldn't reach for Reagor but I like him as a bench stash with high upside.Campbell's rookie season was cut short due to injury but now back at 100%, he's an interesting player to watch heading into 2020. He's got an upgrade at QB with Philip Rivers and should be second in line for targets. That being said, he hasn't shown enough yet to be worthy of a draft pick.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Jalen Reagor lands in a great spot here in Philadelphia with a top-tier QB in Carson Wentz. While Reagor may be relegated to schemed touches in year one, he'll most likely step into the DeSean Jackson role in 2021. You may have to wait a while for Reagor to truly hit, but he has the talent and draft capital to make an impact for fantasy football. As of right now, Campbell and Hilton might cancel each other out from a fantasy football perspective. However, if Hilton misses time again this season, Campbell would immediately jump up into top-30 WR discussion.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Campbell outproduced Terry McLaurin in college while being two years younger. He was also a higher draft selection. He's an interesting late round pick at WR.
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
Let's take a moment to stat out the Eagles offense. The good news: They've never gone below 564 ATT with Pederson at the helm. The bad news: when you stat it out Ertz - 120 Goedert - 75, if you think 195 targets is too much for the position they had 222 last year and Goedert isn't going anywhere Alshon - 100. He paced for more last year but pretty easy to assume injury Sanders - 65. And that's a modest total. He had 63 last year DJax - 65. Could be modest as well but trying to make a point. That's 425 Targets, redistribute them how you want but I think the number for that group is fair. You've probably realized that still leaves AT LEAST 139 targets! I didn't bother statting out the smaller pieces but the RB as whole generally AVGs closer to 100 targets with Doug, Arcega-Whiteside lurks, another 75 potential targets disappearing. I have nothing against Reagor, but the idea that he's challenging for WR1 in dynasty and will some kind of steal in redraft feels questionable to me. 75 targets year 1 would be a win IMO, not a ton of fantasy relevance for that though. Crossroads Point: You just based your whole argument on numbers you made up, SethOnly had 3 games where he was on the field at least 49% of the time. Had 18 targets in those 3 games. Abdominal injury, Fractured Hand, Fractured Foot. Check, Check, Check. 97th+ percentile 40 yard dash, Speed, and Burst Score? Check, Check, Check. 6', 200lbs. 1000 yard season while sharing the field with Terry McLaurin at Ohio St. Now, his competition. Pittman hasn't been a pillar of health himself: broken collarbone (January 2016), hand surgery (January 2017), high left ankle sprain (August 2017), broken nose (August 2017) and shoulder surgery (January 2019), and he fills a completely different roll than Campbell. Pittman is not a YAC threat like Campbell. Hilton also hasn't played 16 games since 2017. Counting on a healthy season at 31 is just as risky as any of the IND options. I'm ready for a Chark like bounce back in year 2, after everyone has moved on to the next shiny toy in Indy, Pittman.
