Fantasy Impact:
Smallwood was not able to practice at all during the short week as he attempts to return from a knee injury that sidelined him for Week 5, so his status for Thursday night is not surprising. With Darren Sproles out for the year, Smallwood is the back who stands to benefit the most in terms of playing time, touches, and catching passes out of the backfield. With a longer break to get healthy after a Thursday night game, Smallwood will likely be back for Week 7.
