Oakland Raiders D/ST yields to Kareem Hunt, Chiefs

by Steve Painter | Raiders Correspondent | Sun, Dec 10th 6:06pm EST

Oakland's defense yielded 268 scoreless yards to Alex Smith and was gashed on the ground for 165 yards and two scores in Sunday's 26-15 loss to the Chiefs. NaVorro Bowman led the team with nine tackles, eight of those solo. Bruce Irvin led with two sacks. Collectively, the team recorded four TFL and seven QB hits. Karl Joseph had an interception. DE Mario Edwards, Jr. left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

The Raiders defense has been decimated by injuries this year and that has prevented them from establishing an identity to build upon. They face Dak Prescott and the Cowboys next week.
