Jared Cook impresses Jon Gruden

10-year NFL veteran tight end Jared Cook set career highs with 54 receptions and 688 yards in his first season with the Raiders but apparently, that wasn't enough to impress new head coach Jon Gruden, who underestimated Cook's athleticism. “Jared Cook has had a great camp. I did not know Jared Cook moved like that,” Gruden said. “I knew he had really good pass receiving skills, but we can line him up at a lot of different places now. He’s been really sharp. We’ve asked him to do a lot.” (East Bay Times)
Fantasy Impact:
Cook, 31, has one TE1 season, which came back in 2013 with the St. Louis Rams. Even coming off of his best numbers in five seasons, Cook remains a TE2, but one that can have some weekly streaming value in 2018.
