Isaiah Crowell impresses in Jets debut

by Mark Leipold | Mon, Aug 13th 1:02pm EDT

Isaiah Crowell saw only three touches in his Jets debut, a preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons, but made the most of his opportunities. He rushed twice for six yards and caught one pass for a 16-yard touchdown.

Fantasy Impact:

Crowell's touchdown reception was a thing of beauty. He lined up out wide, caught a short pass over the middle from Teddy Bridgewater, and beat the defense to the edge, only to plow through the last line of defense at the goal line, capping a very impressive touchdown catch-and-run. If Crowell is used in the passing game like he was on that play, his fantasy stock could soar. He looks to be the lead back, and that volume alone makes him a great value, with a higher ceiling than years past due to the potential for receptions.
