This is shocking news after a successful first week of production for the troubled wide receiver. Gordon had been ruled out for Week 2 on Saturday due to a hamstring injury which came as a surprise to fantasy owners. Now with this release news, it leaves questions as to what else may be happening. Without more knowledge of the situation, owners should hang onto Gordon until his future is more clear. GM John Dorsey made a statement stating that "For the past six years, the Browns have fully supported and invested in Josh, both personally and professionally and wanted the best for him, but unfortunately we’ve reached a point where we feel it’s best to part ways and move forward. We wish Josh well." With such a sudden decision, it wouldn't be a surprise to see another suspension coming.
