Landon Collins headed to IR

Josina Anderson of ESPN reported Wednesday that Giants star safety Landon Collins will need season ending surgery on his injured shoulder. The procedure is expected to take place sometime next week, according to Anderson. He will finish the season on injured reserve for the second straight season. (Josina Anderson on Twitter )

Collins, who is set to be a free agent in March, injured his shoulder during Week 13’s overtime win against the Bears. He finishes 2018 with 96 tackles and a forced fumble in 12 games.
