Carlos Hyde expected to play in Week 17

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Jaguars RB Carlos Hyde (knee) is expected to play in Week 17. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Hyde is expected to play in Sunday's season finale against Houston. With Leonard Fournette doubtful to play with knee/ankle injuries, the tandem of Hyde and T.J. Yeldon -- a healthy scratch last week -- should split the workload assuming the latter will be active. Jags running backs will be tough to trust in a tough matchup with the Texans whose defense is looking to end the regular campaign on a positive note following a rough December. Though Yeldon will be an intriguing option in PPR scoring formats as he's been rock solid in games without Fournette in 2018. He could be especially busy in the passing game, his usual role in which he excels.
