Fantasy Impact:
While Gostkowski is a household name as a kicker, this news isn't extremely surprising given he turned 36 in January, is coming off hip surgery, and wasn't great before landing on IR with the injury to start the 2019 season. We should at least expect the Patriots to bring in some competition this summer if Gostkowski remains with the team, but New England could also save $3.5 million in cap space if they cut the veteran kicker.
