New Bengals CB Trae Waynes was advised by his agent not to partake in any football activities that could put his new three-year, $42M with Cincinnati in jeopardy prior to taking and passing his physical. (SI.com)

Waynes has yet to take and pass a physical for the Bengals, and hasn’t been paid his $15M signing bonus yet. It’s an unusual situation, but Waynes has been advised to tread lightly in case of a freak injury prior to receiving the signing bonus he’ll get when he puts pen to paper. Waynes played four years in Minnesota prior to joining the Bengals this offseason and has become one of the best cover corners in the NFL.
