Nick Foles gets slight edge over Mitch Trubisky in first day of practice
by Dave Kluge | Mon, Aug 17th 3:44pm EDT
Bears beat writer Adam Hoge is reporting that Foles had the slight edge over Mitch Trubisky in the first day of padded practice, although Trubisky took the first snaps with the first team. (NBC Sports Chicago)
Fantasy Impact:
Hoge reported that "There wasn’t much separation between the quarterbacks in Monday’s practice, but I’ll give a slight edge to Foles because he finished strong and avoided the risky throw that Trubisky got away with." This quarterback situation will be muddled through the entire season and probably won't be decided for a few weeks. While Foles has veteran experience, Trubisky would be more valuable in fantasy due to his legs, which have the fifth-most rushing yards for quarterbacks since 2018.
