Donte Moncrief to work out for the Jets

According to a source, the Jets are expected to work out free agent receiver Donte Moncrief sometime this week. (New York Daily News)

Moncrief will be put through a COVID-19 screening with the hopes of working out for the team at some point this week. The Jets officially signed Chris Hogan on Wednesday and it appears they are looking to add some more depth with Denzel Mims (hamstring) and Vyncint Smith (core muscle) both banged up. The 27-year-old receiver has served stints with the Colts, Jaguars, Panthers and Steelers and was a popular late-round selection in fantasy a year ago before an underwhelming start to the season led to his release.
