Vita Vea to have fifth-year option picked up

Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht said the team's picking up defensive-lineman Vita Vea's fifth-year option, according to Jenna Laine. (Jenna Laine on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Vea's fifth-year option being picked up is an indication he's in Tampa Bay's long-term plans. Although he appeared in just five games last season, he was Pro Football Focus' fourth-best defensive-lineman, according to their grading system. Vea totaled two sacks, six tackles, three tackles for loss, and three QB hits in his limited playing time.
