Wayne Gallman inks one-year deal with the 49ers

Gallman visited San Francisco on Tuesday and ultimately reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the 49ers on Wednesday. He rushed for 682 yards on 147 carries and six touchdowns while hauling in 21 receptions for 114 yards across 15 games for the Giants in 2020. Gallman will join a crowded backfield that includes Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson. The 26-year-old is currently 73rd among all running backs in the latest expert consensus draft rankings and is mainly an option in deep-league formats.
