Fantasy Impact:

Atwell has breakaway speed and elite awareness as a ball carrier, making him the perfect candidate to become the Rams' punt returner this season. The rookie caught 69 passes for 1,272 yards and 11 touchdowns during his sophomore season at Louisville in 2019, showcasing his quick burst on vertical routes resulting in multiple touchdowns of 50+ yards. Atwell will look to impress head coach Sean McVay as a returner right away, which could earn him reps at wideout later in the season, as the team used a second-round draft pick to acquire the speedy wide receiver. Atwell is a great late-round value pick in dynasty rookie drafts due to his skillset aligning well within the motion-heavy offense ran by McVay.
