Hunter Henry records 31 yards in Patriots debut

Hunter Henry hauled in all three of his targets for 31 yards in Sunday's defeat to Miami.

Fantasy Impact:

Henry essentially played the same amount of snaps as Jonnu Smith, as they each made their debuts as Patriots. While Smith had the slightly better fantasy day, all three of Henry's catches came in the second half. It may also help that Smith nearly lost a fumble early in the second quarter. If ball-security were to become an issue for Smith, that would almost surely lead to increased usage in the passing game for Henry, boosting his fantasy stock. For now, it's difficult to imagine any pass-catcher in this offense becoming a strong fantasy asset, given how crowded the group is. But both TEs should be involved enough to be considered TE2s going forward. The Patriots have an easier matchup next week against the Jets.
