Russell Wilson will have MRI on finger, belief is 'mallet finger'

Russell Wilson will reportedly have an MRI on his finger and then seek a consultation with a hand specialist after being forced to exit Thursday's game with a finger injury on his throwing hand. Ian Rapoport is saying that the "initial belief is he has mallet finger, essentially a sprained joint that makes it hard to flex a finger." (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson left Thursday night's game after hitting his hand following through on a throw. He suffered a visible injury during the primetime broadcast. He came back in for the next drive before ceding snaps to Geno Smith for the rest of the game. Speculation at first was a dislocation, but Wilson will get further evaluation in the coming days. We will keep you updated as more news becomes available.
