Denzel Ward leaves practice with apparent foot injury Thursday

Denzel Ward walked off the field gingerly after appearing to injure his left foot on the final day of veteran minicamp according to the Akron Beacon Journal’s Jake Furr.
Fantasy Impact:
Ward signed a 5 year/$100.5 million deal in the offseason and with no additional information available, fantasy managers can only hope this Cleveland being extra cautious with their expensive cornerback. Ward is coming off a second Pro Bowl year in which he tied his career high with three interceptions and recorded 43 tackles in 15 games. Ward’s situation is one to be monitored for fantasy purposes as Cleveland’s DST has the 3rd easiest strength of schedule for the upcoming 2022 season.
