Matt Gay makes 57-yard field goal in Week 1

Matt Gay hit his lone field goal attempt, a 57-yarder to end the first half against the Bills Thursday. He also converted his one extra point attempt.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a dismal night for the Rams' offense as a whole, so Gay wasn't afforded many opportunities to score. His long field goal before halftime was impressive and would have been good from 60-plus yards. Gay remains one of the top kickers in the league and will undoubtedly have more opportunities as the season progresses.
