Tyler Gaffney (unspecified injury) was placed on IR by the Patriots after he cleared waivers.
Fantasy Impact:
Tyler Gaffney was drafted in the sixth round last year by the Panthers before being picked up by the Patriots and ultimately ending up on injured reserve all last season. He looked to be a sleeper in the running back race this preseason. It has not worked out that way and Gaffney will spend another season watching games from the sidelines.
