Montee Ball disappoints in final preseason game

by Blake Glosson | Fri, Sep 4th 12:53am EDT

Montee Ball finished Thursday night's preseason game against the Cardinals with 16 carries for 27 yards, adding two catches for four yards.

Fantasy Impact:

As promised, Montee Ball and Kapri Bibbs received the lion's share of the carries in the Broncos final preseason game. With a roster spot on the line, Ball couldn't capitalize against the Cards' reserves, managing just 1.7 yards per carry. Meanwhile, second-year RB Kapri Bibbs rushed for as many yards on ten less carries. Bibbs not only looked to be the better RB, but he also made a nice tackle on special teams, further dampening Ball's case to make the team as the fourth-string RB. A top-ten pick in fantasy drafts just one year ago, Ball is firmly off the fantasy radar.
