Dez Bryant receives 'great feedback' on his knee

by Anthony Cervino | Fri, Sep 30th 8:22am EDT

Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (knee), who is expected to be inactive for Week 4 due to a hairline fracture in his knee, tweeted that he received "great feedback" from esteemed sports physician Dr. James Andrews and considers himself as "day-to-day." (Pro Football Talk)

Fantasy Impact:

A knee injury in Week 4, finishing the contest and scoring a touchdown following the ailment, ducking meetings and an MRI earlier in the week and receiving "great feedback" from an esteemed surgeon. A tumultuous timeline of events in a five-day span for Bryant. The emotional wideout "feared the worst" on his knee injury but did receive good news that he could return to football activities following Week 4, assuming he is ruled out for the contest. For fantasy football purposes, Bryant is turning out to be a disappointment, especially after seemingly gaining momentum right when he suffered the injury. However, don't sleep on Bryant just yet. He does have a budding rapport with Dak Prescott and Tony Romo could very well return to the team by mid-season. Just in time for a fantasy playoff run. Be patient with Bryant, but if a fantasy owner does decide to trade him, be sure to get decent value for the mischievous wideout.
