We’re back again this season to track the in-season accuracy of fantasy football experts. For those new to our accuracy competition, this is the 5th year we’ve run an assessment that evaluates the experts’ weekly rankings (past contest results available here).
Over the course of the next 16 weeks, we’ll analyze several million predictions from over 100 fantasy experts (see: methodology). Included in the expert lineup is our returning champ, Jody Smith (Gridiron Experts). Jody will once again face stiff competition from the top experts the fantasy industry has to offer.
Of course, before we can crown a winner for the season, we need to look at week 1′s accuracy results. Below are the top experts for the first week of the season. Full standings are available in the accuracy section of our site.

We’ll be back again after the games this weekend to provide another update on which experts are making the most accurate predictions. In the meantime, you can get in on the act by competing against the experts in our weekly FantasyPros Challenge ($5 entry). Just finish in the top half of the competition and you’ll earn a $10 payout. And if you finish above every expert that’s competing you’ll also earn a share of a $1,000 bonus prize pool.
