OwnersBox Week 5 Superflex Salary Cap Values

OwnersBox Week 5 Superflex Salary Cap Values

Week 1 at OwnersBox was a blast. The superflex salary cap contest was all we could have hoped for and more. We hope you all made use of the free entries and have some winnings to work with for the rest of the season.  The superflex format always brings more variance and strategy, and OwnersBox delivered. The field size has shrunk from what we saw in Week 1, and while that may mean a lower overall pot, it also means less competition. Week 2, 3, and 4 were just as exhilarating as Week 1 at OwnersBox. Looking ahead to Week 5, there are some intriguing values across the board, three of which we will highlight below.

Emmanuel Sanders (WR – BUF): $4,700
Sanders has been heating up over the past two weeks and is in line for another strong performance in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City has been struggling to stop the pass and has surrendered the 10th most fantasy points to the wide receiver position. Sanders has averaged five receptions, 84 receiving yards, and a touchdown over his past two contests and is still listed at just $4,700 at OwnersBox. He is almost a lock to provide a positive return on investment in what is expected to be a shootout with the Chiefs. He has averaged 26.8 percent of the team’s air yards over the last two weeks and should see more high-value targets against a leaky Chiefs secondary. Sanders is the type of value that can help you fit in a stud elsewhere while far outpacing his salary rank’s implied projection.

Randall Cobb (WR – GB): $4,000
Cobb finally has a path to consistent snaps for the Green Bay Packers. The Bengals have been vulnerable through the air this season, allowing at least one 99 yard receiver in each game this season. While the big numbers will likely go to Davante Adams again this week, they allowed three receivers to hit 70 receiving yards in back in Week 1. Cobb saw his highest snap count of the season in Week 4, tallying five receptions for 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He should creep up over the 60 percent snap share mark against Cincinnati, and only gamescript should be able to stop him from proving to be a value based on his Week 5 salary at OwnersBox. Rostering Cobb will allow you to spend more at other positions instead of going for an all-value lineup. Roll with Cobb for Week 5.

Leonard Fournette (RB – TB): $5,200
Leonard Fournette has seen his snaps fluctuate throughout the season, but his Week 4 usage bodes well for his Week 5 workload. He saw 82 percent of the snaps last week and should see the featured back treatment again after a throwback performance that saw the LSU product post 92 rushing yards, three receptions, and 47 receiving yards. It seems that Arians no longer may no longer wish to play games with his backfield. Fournette should have a field day against the Miami Dolphins in Week 5. Miami has relinquished the fourth-most fantasy points to the running back position this season. They have allowed a 100 yard rusher in three of four games this season while surrendering 82 rushing yards (to a committee back) in the other. Fournette is one of the top values for Week 5 at OwnersBox.
