Scott Kazmir injured during Monday's game

by Stan Son | Tue, Mar 7th 3:34pm EST

Scott Kazmir left Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies after experiencing soreness in his left hip. Before exiting, he allowed one hit and struck out one in one inning of work. 10-of-14 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Kazmir is slated to be the Dodgers' number four starting pitcher in the rotation. He does have an injury history: elbow (2008), elbow and leg (2009), hamstring and shoulder (2010), and spine (2016). To be fair, he did pitch 183 and 190 innings in 2014 and 2015. ECR has Kazmir as the 105th pitcher and ADP has him being selected as the 104th pitcher off the board. Some possible replacements, if Kazmir is unable to go, would be Brandon McCarthy, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Brock Steward, Ross Stripling, and Alex Wood.
