Colorado Rockies 1B Ian Desmond has fractured his left hand. Initial thoughts are that the diagnosis is not good. (Nick Groke on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Desmond hit .285 last season with 22 home runs and 21 stolen bases. Desmond was the big offseason signing for the Rockies and had big expections in Colorado this season. An injury like this is never good and will have a major impact on all fantasy baseball if he is out for a long period of time.
