Aroldis Chapman allowed a run on a hit in the ninth inning on Thursday against the Mariners. Chapman was pitching in a non-save situation and walked one while striking out two. He has a 3.65 ERA and 1.46 WHIP this season.
Fantasy Impact:
Chapman's struggles this month continue, as he has a 2.05 WHIP in July and has allowed 15 baserunners in 7 1/3 innings. The addition of David Robertson gives the Yankees another option in the ninth if Chapman falters, putting pressure on Chapman. Among his problems, Chapman only has nine strikeouts this month.
